ATAR standards that will be relevant to/addressed in the Research Stream include:


  • Critical thinking skills:   

    • Devising nuanced inquiries and investigations into issues of interest

    • Analysing data and evidence and evaluating its reliability and validity

    • Synthesising evidence to form sophisticated arguments

    • Critically evaluating your own research processes

  • Communication skills (sophisticated, fluent, accurate communication that is appropriate to genre) 

  • ICT skills (including digital citizenship and productive use of technology)

  • Personal skills (including time management, planning, and organising)

Educator attendance at the St Rita’s College Remarkable Women Conference will contribute 5 hours and 30 minutes of Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registered PD addressing Standard 6.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in QLD.
